Cybersecurity leader Wiz is acquiring Dazz, a specialist in security remediation and risk management, in a cash-and-share deal valued at $450 million. This acquisition bolsters Wiz’s capabilities in remediation and posture management—key areas for addressing vulnerabilities and enhancing network understanding.
Dazz, last valued at just under $400 million, has built expertise in resolving security alerts and providing insights into network architecture for proactive defence. Wiz CEO Assaf Rappaport highlighted Dazz as a market leader with excellent talent and cultural alignment. Dazz will operate independently while integrating into Wiz’s product stack.
The acquisition reflects a longstanding relationship between the companies. Dazz CEO Merav Bahat previously collaborated with Rappaport at Microsoft and was an early investor in Wiz. The deal signifies a broader strategy for Wiz, which has raised $1 billion for acquisitions this year.
Wiz aims to provide developers with robust tools for addressing complex security challenges posed by cloud adoption and AI advancements. With Dazz, Wiz enhances its all-in-one platform, offering a comprehensive view of risks and improved remediation capabilities. Already serving 45% of the Fortune 100, Wiz targets $1 billion in annual recurring revenue within the next year.
