Air India has appointed P. Balaji as the Group Head for Governance, Regulatory, Compliance (GRC), and Corporate Affairs. Commencing his role from January 11, 2024, Balaji will report directly to Air India’s CEO & MD, Campbell Wilson. His responsibilities include supervising Government Affairs, Legal, Ethics, Sustainability, and Corporate Communications functions, among others.
Commencing his professional journey with Tata Administrative Services, Balaji boasts a wealth of experience exceeding 30 years in the Telecom & IT Sector. His versatile expertise spans regulatory policy, compliance, sales, product management, marketing, strategy, M&A, and operations. After almost a decade at Vodafone Idea, where he led regulatory and public policy functions, Balaji now brings his extensive knowledge to Air India.
