On Monday, the SaaS startup BetterPlace, specializing in frontline workforce management software, announced the appointment of Ved Antani as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer. Antani’s previous role was General Manager and Vice President of Engineering and Product at Twilio, a cloud communications company listed on the NYSE.
Antani has accumulated more than 15 years of expertise in constructing highly scalable platforms and products in various sectors, including SaaS, e-commerce, gaming, and enterprise, with his tenure at Twilio being a part of this extensive experience.
Before his role at Twilio, where he played a pivotal role in crafting a global engineering and product vision, Antani served as Vice President of the Flipkart subsidiary, Myntra, where he spearheaded initiatives to enhance the engineering roadmap.
In his new capacity at BetterPlace, Ved will take charge of the entire technology team and play a crucial role in guiding the company through a comprehensive AI revitalization, as stated in the announcement.
