Udit Pahwa, formerly the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Kirloskar Management Services Pvt. Ltd., has been appointed as the new CIO of Blue Star Ltd. In this strategic role, Mr. Pahwa will spearhead Blue Star’s digital transformation initiatives and develop comprehensive IT architecture and infrastructure strategies to drive business growth.
With over 27 years of extensive experience in the IT industry, Udit has a proven track record of leveraging technology to address business challenges while efficiently managing costs and risks. At Kirloskar, he was instrumental in formulating cutting-edge IT strategies and demonstrated expertise in various areas, including Business Applications (CRM, ERP, and PLM), Connected Shopfloor, and Business Data Analytics.
Before his tenure at Kirloskar, Mr. Pahwa served as the Head of IT at Huhtamaki India Limited. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he possesses a diverse industry background in Operations Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Process Solutions.
Throughout his career spanning over two and a half decades, Mr. Pahwa has successfully implemented enterprise applications for leading organizations, created core transactional platforms to facilitate business growth, and led technology investments. He is recognized for establishing best practices and standardization, grooming high-performance teams, and executing enterprise-level technology strategies and roadmaps.
An early adopter of advanced technologies such as Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Hosted Shared Desktop (HSD), Udit has also co-authored the book “Automation for the Future Enterprise,” published in 2021, and contributed to numerous publications on technology and cybersecurity topics.
