Lab-grown diamond startup True Diamond has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Titan Capital, with additional backing from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl Ventures, and notable angel investors, including Mamaearth founder Ghazal Alagh, Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, and others.
The Mumbai-based startup, founded in January 2024 by Parin Shah and Darayus Mehta, plans to leverage the funding to scale operations, establish exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR, and implement impactful branding and marketing initiatives.
True Diamond specializes in lab-grown diamond jewellery, offering pieces that replicate the chemical, physical, and optical properties of natural diamonds. The brand caters to growing consumer preferences for sustainable and ethically sourced products, featuring a diverse range of customizable jewellery for both men and women.
“This funding will allow us to expand our team, establish boutique locations, and strengthen our brand presence. We’re excited to work with our investors to build True Diamond into one of the leading names in the jewellery industry,” said co-founder Parin Shah.
The investment aligns with rising demand for lab-grown diamonds, showcasing True Diamond’s potential to shape the future of sustainable luxury jewellery.
