Tata Technologies Signs MoA with Tripura Government to Modernize ITIs

Tata Technologies, a Tata Group company, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Tripura government to modernize 19 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state. Valued at ₹95.65 crore (excluding GST), the initiative aims to enhance vocational training and skill development in the northeastern region.

Signed on November 20, 2024, the project will be executed over 5 years and 9 months, with an option for a 5-year extension. It includes the introduction of six new long-term trades and 23 short-term courses, equipping the ITIs to address evolving industry demands.

The Tripura government will construct 13,500 square feet of new infrastructure at each ITI to support the upgrades. This collaboration highlights Tata Technologies’ commitment to driving skill development and industrial growth in India’s northeastern states.
