Swiggy has made notable additions to its team, bolstering its leadership with several seasoned professionals.
Himavant Srikrishna Kurnala has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Product at Swiggy Instamart. Kurnala joins from Reliance Retail, where he was the Chief Product Officer for JioMart, overseeing product, program, design, analytics, and marketplace trust functions. With over 20 years of experience at major companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Reliance, Kurnala brings a wealth of expertise in scaling product portfolios and leading high-performance teams.
Mayank Rajvaidya has come on board as the Vice President (VP) of Fruits & Vegetables at Swiggy Instamart, a crucial category for the platform. Rajvaidya, with nearly two decades of experience in category management and operations, previously led Amazon’s Consumables Private Brands in India. He played a key role in launching and expanding Amazon Pantry to over 300 cities. His knowledge is expected to drive Swiggy Instamart’s growth in the fresh produce segment.
Manu Sasidharan joins Swiggy Instamart as Associate Vice President (AVP) of the FMCG Category. With over 12 years of experience, predominantly in e-commerce, Sasidharan has previously worked with Flipkart and Cleartrip. He was instrumental in business development, setting up new ventures, managing profit and loss, and handling customer demand.
In a separate move, Kumar Rahul has been appointed Associate Vice President (AVP) of Business Development at Lynk by Swiggy. Rahul brings over 14 years of experience in digital transformation, marketing, and e-commerce, having worked with prominent companies such as Google, Disney+ Hotstar, and Flipkart.
