Lenovo Security Solutions has appointed Shaik J Ahmed as the Head of Security Solutions for India. Ahmed has previously held key positions, including Vice President, Head of Information Security – Risk & Governance at Mashreq Bank; Head of Information Security and Data Protection Officer at Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India Private Ltd. (RNTBCI); and Global Head of Cyber Security Consulting and Advisory Services at Virtusa.
At Lenovo, Ahmed will focus on expanding the company’s security solutions and services across India. “In today’s digital world, robust security solutions are no longer a luxury, but a necessity,” Ahmed stated. “I’m excited to leverage my experience to help Indian businesses navigate the evolving security landscape and empower them with best-in-class solutions from Lenovo,” he added.
Ahmed holds an MBA from Amity University and has more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and consulting. His expertise lies in IoT security, connected devices security, cyber resilience, cyber threat management and counter threat intelligence, Security Operations Center (SOC), application security and vulnerability management, and related areas.
