Havas India has announced the appointment of Prashanth Challapalli as the Chief Digital & Innovation Officer for its Creative Network India, a strategic move aligned with the agency’s commitment to driving digital advancement and integrated innovation. This newly introduced role places him at the forefront of transforming Havas’ creative operations through future-ready, tech-enabled strategies.
In this capacity, Challapalli will be based in Mumbai and will directly report to Rana Barua, Group CEO of Havas India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia. He is expected to lead initiatives that bring digital-first thinking to the core of brand storytelling, enhancing the agency’s ability to deliver value in an increasingly dynamic marketing ecosystem.
With over two decades of diverse experience spanning advertising, digital transformation, content creation, and brand consulting, Challapalli brings a rare blend of strategic insight and executional depth. He has previously founded Gravity Integrated, a strategic consultancy that helped several high-profile clients navigate the evolving digital space. His leadership journey also includes significant roles at renowned firms like Leo Burnett Orchard, Publicis, and iContract.
Throughout his career, Challapalli has been known for pushing creative boundaries and championing innovation across platforms. His new role will focus on weaving data, design, and technology into the creative fabric of Havas India, aiming to reimagine how brands connect with audiences.
