Aakash Moondhra, the Global CFO of the Prosus-owned fintech PayU, has resigned, effective September 30, 2023.
In a career spanning over 28 years, Moondhra has worked with companies including, AT&T, Baring Private Equity, Bharti Group and Snapdeal in various capacities.
The exit comes in the backdrop of PayU India preparing to go public in the coming year. “In the process of crystallizing value, we decided to sell part of the business, and put India on the path to IPO with the right leaders in place,” Moondhra said on social media.
“It has been a tremendous pleasure to be a part of PayU for the last 8 years, spending the first four years in Amsterdam, and the next four years in Dubai,… September 30, 2023 will be my last day at PayU/Prosus Fintech in the capacity of Global CFO,” Moondhra posted on social media.
