Nodwin Gaming, a leader in the youth entertainment, gaming, and esports sectors, has secured a Rs 64 crore investment from its parent company, Nazara Technologies Limited. This fresh capital infusion will support the company’s expansion efforts, strengthen its capabilities, and increase its intellectual property (IP) portfolio, with a special focus on emerging markets.
The investment will accelerate Nodwin’s global growth, as the company aims to captivate the global youth audience with innovative content and media strategies. Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of Nodwin Gaming, emphasized the company’s commitment to building a global presence, with a strategic focus on expanding in emerging markets.
Nodwin Gaming has also made significant strides in its growth journey through acquisitions. The company recently acquired Comic Con India and Trinity Gaming for Rs 24 crore, making Trinity a fully-owned subsidiary. Additional acquisitions include Freaks 4U Gaming, a German esports and gaming marketing agency, and Singapore-based live events company Branded, along with Turkish esports company Ninja Global. These acquisitions are aligned with Nodwin’s goal to expand its intellectual property portfolio and increase its presence in international markets.
Before this investment, Nodwin Gaming was valued at $410 million (Rs. 3,441 crore) as of November 2024. Its notable shareholders include Krafton, JetSynthesys, Sony Group, and Nazara Technologies.
