Nathan Adams Appointed Chief People Officer at Lloyd’s

Nathan Adams has been named Chief People Officer at Lloyd’s, set to join in early 2025 and become a member of the Executive Committee. With over 20 years of experience in HR and organizational transformation, Nathan has held prominent positions at Aviva, including Chief People Officer at Aviva Investors. His extensive career also includes key HR leadership roles at Barclays and Arcadia, showcasing his comprehensive industry expertise and strategic capabilities. Reporting to CEO John Neal, Nathan will lead the development and execution of Lloyd’s people strategy, emphasizing an inclusive and high-performance culture. His experience in guiding large-scale HR initiatives positions him to drive substantial positive change within the organization.

Nathan succeeds Sara Gomez, who will retire at the end of 2024 following a noteworthy tenure at Lloyd’s. Sara served as Interim Chief HR Officer before being appointed Chief People Officer, making significant contributions to strengthening the company’s culture and people strategy. Lloyd’s leadership expressed appreciation for Sara’s impactful work and her role within the Executive Committee. As Nathan steps into his new role, Lloyd’s anticipates furthering its people-focused initiatives, reinforcing its standing as a leading marketplace for insurance and reinsurance.
