Nand Kishore has been named Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBI Funds Management Limited (SBI MF), taking over from Shamsher Singh. With a distinguished career spanning various key verticals of the State Bank of India (SBI), including international operations, treasury, and retail banking, Kishore brings a wealth of expertise to lead India’s largest mutual fund.
Previously serving as Deputy Managing Director of SBI, Kishore played a pivotal role in overseeing treasury operations as Deputy Managing Director (Global Markets), showcasing his strategic and operational acumen. His appointment is set to drive SBI MF’s growth trajectory, enhancing its leadership in the investment management sector.
SBI Mutual Fund, a joint venture between SBI and Europe’s largest asset manager, Amundi, manages assets worth approximately ₹11 lakh crore. Under Kishore’s stewardship, the fund house aims to expand its investor base and reinforce its position as the go-to choice for mutual fund investments in India.
