E-commerce giant Meesho announced on Monday that Mohit Rajani has been appointed as the new Chief Product Officer (CPO). In his role, Rajani will lead the product management, design, and analytics teams. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Meta, Google, and Carta.
Welcoming Rajani, Meesho’s Founder and CEO, Vidit Aatrey, stated that Rajani’s responsibilities will include “driving product innovation, improving customer experience, and building a world-class product organisation,” as per an official press release from the company.
This appointment comes on the heels of Meesho’s recent decision to strengthen its board by adding four independent directors a month ago. The new board members include prominent figures such as Kalpana Morparia, a veteran from JPMorgan, Hari S Bhartia, former President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Surojit Chatterjee, and Rohit Bhagat. This strategic move is part of Meesho’s efforts to enhance its corporate governance as the platform continues to expand.
