Kusho has secured $600,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, with contributions from Blume Founders Fund and UpSparks Capital. The funding round also witnessed the involvement of angel investors such as Mohit Kumar, Vatsal Singhal, and Ashok Hariharan. The startup’s core mission is to enhance software reliability through the utilization of AI agents.
Established in 2023 by Abhishek Saikia and Sourabh Gawande, both alumni of BITS Pilani, Kusho is the brainchild of professionals deeply entrenched in software development and product management.
Gawande brings extensive software development experience to the table, including his tenure at FalconX. Meanwhile, Saikia contributes expertise in product management gained during his time at Flipkart.
Kusho introduces a novel approach by employing proprietary models and foundational LLMs to simulate an AI software developer. This AI is proficient in identifying bugs in code with unparalleled accuracy and speed, surpassing human capabilities by a significant margin, as noted by the startup. It harnesses these AI agents to conduct comprehensive code testing throughout the development cycle and with every new release.
Kusho’s technology aims to alleviate the challenges encountered by software developers, enabling them to focus on crafting and deploying high-quality software without concerns about overlooked bugs. According to Saikia, co-founder and CEO of Kusho, “We empower software developers to concentrate on building and delivering exceptional software without the burden of undetected bugs, ultimately saving time, enhancing overall codebase quality, and ensuring stable and error-free releases. By automating manual and time-consuming tasks, developers can significantly reduce time-to-market and project costs, making Kusho an invaluable asset for tech teams.”
