JPMorgan Chase has begun deploying its own generative artificial intelligence (AI) tool, designed to perform tasks similar to those of a research analyst.
The largest bank in the United States has introduced its proprietary large language model, named LLM Suite, to employees in its asset and wealth management division. This tool assists with writing, generating ideas, and summarizing documents.
The rollout of LLM Suite began earlier this year, and currently, around 50,000 employees have access to it.
In comparison, Morgan Stanley, another major U.S. investment bank, partnered with OpenAI and launched a GenAI-powered chatbot last September. This tool provides financial advisors with rapid access to the bank’s extensive intellectual resources.
