Heart Aerospace, a prominent manufacturer of hybrid-electric aircraft, is delighted to announce the appointment of Benjamin Stabler as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. This move comes as Heart Aerospace, headquartered in Sweden, enters a pivotal phase of hardware testing in preparation for showcasing fully electric flight next year.
Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise, Stabler has previously led hardware and software teams on the Crew Dragon program at SpaceX. Additionally, he co-founded Parallel Systems, a company specializing in automated, battery-electric freight rail vehicles.
Known for his proficiency in building safe and high-performance vehicles, Stabler has a track record of nurturing cross-functional teams to address interdisciplinary challenges. His appointment underscores Heart Aerospace’s unwavering commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the aviation sector.

Stabler’s appointment as CTO coincides with Heart Aerospace’s significant expansion in the United States, marked by the establishment of a new research and development hub in Los Angeles, California. Based in Los Angeles, Stabler will spearhead the recruitment of a team to collaborate closely with the organization’s headquarters in Gothenburg.
