Virginia Sharma has been named the Head of Marketing for Google Cloud Public Sector. Before this role, she served as the Head of Marketing for Google Cloud India. Sharma shared this announcement on her LinkedIn profile.
Previously, Virginia held the position of Vice President, Brand Solutions at JioSaavn, the audio OTT platform, for approximately 2 years. In this role, she was responsible for promoting the adoption of JioSaavn’s innovative advertising solutions for brands and overseeing relationships with agencies and clients.
With a wealth of experience spanning 23 years in leading marketing and sales teams, Sharma has a background with more than 5 years at LinkedIn. Additionally, she spent over 15 years at IBM in various global and regional roles, including India Vice President of Marketing and Communications, before joining LinkedIn Asia Pacific in 2014.
