EV-as-a-service startup Hala Mobility Secures Rs 51 Crore in Pre-Series A Funding for EV Fleet Expansion

Hyderabad-based Hala Mobility, an electric vehicle (EV)-as-a-service startup, has raised Rs 51 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The funding was led by founders Srikanth Reddy, Snehith Reddy, and Phani Ramineni of Previa Health, with additional support from the Rohan Bajaj syndicate via Invstt, Sarthy Angels, Bestvantage, and a network of HNIs and family offices. The round included a mix of debt and equity.

Founded in 2020 by Srikanth Reddy, Snehith Reddy Meda, and Anand Pareek, Hala Mobility offers an EV-as-a-service platform tailored for e-commerce companies and gig workers. The company provides software solutions for managing EVs, batteries, and drivers, guaranteeing 95% uptime and 24/7 service. Collaborating with major delivery platforms like Bigbasket, Zomato, and Zepto, Hala Mobility is known for efficient last-mile logistics.

With this new capital, Hala plans to expand into six more Indian cities, aiming to deploy 10,000 additional electric two-wheelers by December next year. The startup currently operates over 3,000 vehicles in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vizag, Vijayawada, and Guntur. This expansion aligns with its mission of promoting sustainable urban transport.

Investor Phani Ramineni expressed his commitment, emphasizing the potential of Hala’s comprehensive EV management software to support fleet growth and future applications across the EV ecosystem.
