Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok 3 is set to be unveiled today. Billionaire Tesla chief said on Saturday that his xAI’s artificial intelligence chatbot and ChatGPT challenger Grok 3 would be released with a live demo.
The demonstration is scheduled for 8 p.m. (PT) on Monday. Last week, Musk mentioned that Grok 3 was in the final stages of development and would be released in about a week or two.
Grok 3, which offers multilingual assistance and is available on the X platform, builds on the foundation of Grok-2, launched in August. Grok-2 featured notable capabilities such as the image generator Aurora and web search functionality.
Enhancements in Grok-3 include a threefold increase in speed over Grok-2, along with improved accuracy, multi-lingual support, and a heightened ability to follow instructions.
Musk’s announcement follows DeepSeek’s recent launch of a free AI assistant that uses less data at a fraction of the cost of existing services, quickly overtaking U.S. rival ChatGPT in downloads from Apple’s App Store.
