Aditya Birla Capital has named Deep Pal Singh as its Chief Risk Officer (Designate). In this key leadership role, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s risk management framework, ensuring strong governance, and aligning risk strategies with business objectives.
With nearly three decades of experience in financial services, Singh has held leadership roles across multinational banks, financial conglomerates, and NBFCs in India and Africa. Before this appointment, he served as Chief Risk Officer at Aditya Birla Finance Limited, contributing significantly to strengthening the company’s risk framework.
His professional journey includes a long tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, where he led functions in consumer, private, and business banking, as well as risk and business development. Singh has a proven track record in strategic planning, digital transformation, risk assessment, and business growth.
As he steps into this expanded role, Singh is expected to play a key part in enhancing risk governance and supporting Aditya Birla Capital’s long-term growth strategy.
