SOM Distilleries & Breweries has announced the appointment of Anand Agrawal as its Chief Marketing Officer. Anand comes with over two decades of experience in brand management, trade marketing, operations, and business development, making him a valuable addition to the company. His strategic insight is expected to play a key role in guiding SOM Distilleries & Breweries into and through new premium market segments within the beverage industry.
Anand has previously held significant positions at Hindustan Unilever, United Spirits (Diageo), and Pernod Ricard India, where he was instrumental in increasing market share and enhancing consumer loyalty for several brands. At SOM Distilleries & Breweries, he will be responsible for the marketing strategies of major brands such as Woodpecker, Hunter, Black Fort, Power Cool, and Milestone Blue. His efforts will focus on increasing consumer preference, strengthening brand connections, and breaking into premium sectors including beer, Scotch, and Indian Single Malt (ISM).

His leadership will further efforts to enhance operational efficiencies and develop a cohesive brand ecosystem that supports profitability and brand loyalty.
