Abhijit Bhattacharya has been named the new Chief Financial Officer of Unilever Ice Cream, effective December 1, 2024. With an impressive 38-year career in financial leadership, Abhijit brings extensive experience from his previous role as CFO and Board Member at Royal Philips N.V., where he played a pivotal role in the company’s successful separation project. His expertise in managing large-scale transformations will be crucial as Unilever pursues its vision of establishing a world-leading Pure Play Ice Cream business.
Abhijit will take over from Anita Bhat-Zutshi, who has served as CFO for the past two years. His proven track record in financial strategy and operational leadership is expected to significantly support Unilever’s growth ambitions in the ice cream sector.
