Niranjan Nilekani has been appointed as Vice President and Head of BIU & Analytics at Mahindra Group. In this critical leadership role, he will oversee the company’s business intelligence and analytics functions, driving data-driven strategies and fostering innovation across Mahindra’s business units.
With over 12 years of experience in the analytics domain, Niranjan has made a significant mark in the industry. Before this appointment, he was Senior AVP – Data Science and Analytics at ICICI Lombard, where he implemented transformative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement. His tenure at ICICI Lombard saw him manage advanced analytics to address challenges in the insurance sector, delivering impactful insights that supported business objectives.
Throughout his career, Niranjan has demonstrated exceptional expertise in analytics, particularly within sectors such as banking, services, and aviation. His earlier roles include leadership positions in renowned organizations where he worked on risk analytics, data science, and business intelligence. By applying innovative statistical tools and techniques, he has consistently developed strategies that align with business growth and operational excellence.
