Delhivery Launches Rapid Commerce for Sub-2-Hour Deliveries to Enhance D2C Brands’ Customer Experience

Gurugram-based logistics giant Delhivery has launched Rapid Commerce, a service designed to provide sub-2-hour delivery for brands, revolutionizing the way e-commerce platforms and direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses meet customer expectations. Initially rolled out in Bengaluru, the service has rapidly gained traction, processing over 300 orders daily. The move aims to offer brands an efficient and highly competitive delivery solution that drastically improves customer satisfaction.

The Rapid Commerce service offers an innovative logistics model, allowing D2C brands, retailers, and e-commerce platforms to deliver products within a significantly shorter timeframe than traditional delivery services. By leveraging Delhivery’s advanced logistics infrastructure, the service promises not only speed but also cost efficiency, directly benefiting the end consumer. Through this offering, brands can maintain a closer connection with customers, reducing the typical waiting time and offering a more responsive shopping experience.

Ajith Pai, Chief Operating Officer at Delhivery, emphasized the advantages of the service, stating, “With Rapid Commerce, leading D2C brands can create a superior direct experience and greater control over customer loyalty. Brands can provide consumers faster access to a vast catalogue of products at efficient costs by using our network of shared in-city Rapid Stores.” This strategic enhancement is aimed at providing consumers with an unparalleled shopping experience, driving faster product delivery within urban areas while helping brands retain customer loyalty.

Delhivery’s Rapid Commerce is designed to address the fast-paced demands of industries such as beauty and personal care, fashion, electronics, and accessories. These sectors, traditionally reliant on standard e-commerce delivery schedules, can now offer near-instantaneous deliveries, aligning with changing consumer expectations in an increasingly competitive market. Brands are no longer limited by traditional delivery timelines and can gain a competitive edge by offering significantly faster fulfillment times. The Rapid Commerce service enables a seamless experience that meets the demand for immediate product access, strengthening brands’ relationship with their customers.

Looking forward, Delhivery plans to expand the Rapid Stores service to other major metro cities, including Hyderabad, Chennai, NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad. Delhivery’s nationwide presence extends across over 18,700 pin codes, making it one of India’s most extensive logistics networks.
