With over two decades of experience in the field, Vishal brings a wealth of expertise to Suzlon, encompassing cyber risk management, red teaming, threat hunting, attack simulation, malware analysis, incident management, and strategic process automation. His comprehensive skill set also extends to customer engagement, team leadership, project management, and cyber forensics, making him a pivotal addition to Suzlon’s leadership team.
Prior to this role, Vishal served as the Head of the Cyber Risk Unit at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, where he spent over two years managing data privacy, attack simulations, and a host of other critical cybersecurity functions. At Bajaj Allianz, Vishal’s leadership was instrumental in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture, protecting sensitive data, and mitigating cyber threats through innovative solutions and proactive measures.
Before his tenure at Bajaj Allianz, Vishal led the Security Operations Center (SOC) at Persistent Systems, where he spent more than three years advancing the organization’s cybersecurity capabilities. His responsibilities included monitoring and mitigating security threats, managing incident response protocols, and ensuring the smooth operation of the SOC.
Vishal’s career trajectory also includes a remarkable 13-year tenure at Quick Heal, where he held multiple roles, including Associate Project Manager, Manager of Technical Support, and Technical Support Engineer. As Associate Project Manager, he focused on malware analysis, process automation, and customer escalation management. During his time as Manager of Technical Support, he spearheaded operations for four technical support centers, leading a team of over 100 engineers and ensuring high-quality service delivery. His early years as a Technical Support Engineer laid the foundation for his expertise in managing complex technical challenges and delivering robust solutions.
In his new role at Suzlon Group, Vishal is expected to lead the company’s information security initiatives, implementing comprehensive strategies to protect its digital assets and mitigate risks in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
