Chandigarh-based cybersecurity firm TAC Security has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining certification from the global body ioXt. This certification authorizes TAC Security to perform testing and risk assessments for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, ensuring that connected systems meet rigorous global standards for security, transparency, and upgradability. With this achievement, TAC Security joins an elite group of only eight companies worldwide with this certification, further solidifying its position as a leader in the cybersecurity domain.
TAC Security announced its plans to enter the IoT security market, integrating IoT security assessments into its ESOF (Enterprise Security on One Framework) Vulnerability Management Platform. These services are set to launch in February 2025, providing enterprises with a unified platform to manage risks across IT, OT (Operational Technology), and IoT ecosystems. The company’s goal is to address the increasing complexity of cybersecurity in a rapidly expanding IoT landscape.
Saransh Rawat, Chief Technology Officer of TAC Security, emphasized the importance of this milestone. “Being approved as an ioXt authorized lab empowers us to ensure manufacturers and enterprises meet global security benchmarks. This is a significant leap in our mission to become the world’s largest vulnerability management company,” he stated.
Trishneet Arora, Founder and CEO of TAC Security, highlighted the broader implications of the certification. “Becoming an ioXt authorized lab is a testament to TAC Security’s unmatched expertise, cutting-edge infrastructure, and commitment to global security benchmarks. With an estimated 25.4 billion IoT devices expected by 2030, ensuring IoT security is critical for protecting smart cities, healthcare systems, industrial automation, and smart homes,” he said. The IoT market is projected to reach USD 59 billion by 2030, making this initiative a strategic move for TAC Security.
TAC Security’s ESOF platform will offer organizations a seamless solution for managing vulnerabilities and cyber risks associated with IoT devices. This initiative complements the company’s existing portfolio of certifications, which include ISO 17025, Google CASA Assessor, Google MASA Assessor, AppDecence Alliance Security Assessor, CERT-IN Emplaned (Government of India), and CREST certification for penetration testing.
With a target of acquiring 10,000 global customers by March 2026, TAC Security is poised to make a significant impact in the IoT security space, addressing the growing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions in an increasingly interconnected world.
