Innovartan Learning Solutions, an edtech startup based in Noida, has successfully raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round, co-led by notable investors Gokul Rajaram and Amit Singhal. This funding marks a significant step towards Innovartan’s goal of transforming India’s education system by bridging the gap between traditional school education and competitive exam preparation.
Founded in 2023 by Prashant Sharma, Innovartan aims to address a prevalent issue in India’s fragmented education sector. In the current system, students are often compelled to attend schools mainly for board exam preparation while relying on separate coaching centers for competitive exams such as engineering and medical entrance tests. This dual-track approach not only causes unnecessary stress for students but also puts a financial strain on families who must bear the costs of coaching centers. Additionally, many students are forced to relocate to major urban hubs for specialized coaching, further compounding the challenges.
Innovartan’s model seeks to eliminate these challenges by integrating competitive exam coaching directly into the school curriculum. The startup believes that by empowering schools to deliver comprehensive education that includes both board exam preparation and coaching for competitive exams, students can focus on their academic growth in a more familiar and less pressured environment. This initiative aims to make schools self-sufficient, offering students the resources they need to succeed in both school exams and competitive tests without the burden of external coaching centers.
The funding will be used to help Innovartan implement its vision and provide schools with the necessary resources, training, and tools to incorporate competitive exam coaching into their existing structures. By doing so, Innovartan hopes to improve student outcomes and reduce the financial burden on families, offering a more accessible and streamlined educational experience. The startup’s model is a step forward in redefining education in India, ensuring that students can stay closer to home and focus on their academic and competitive exam success without unnecessary distractions.
