US-based iPhone maker Apple is reportedly planning to hire around 400 employees for its upcoming four new stores in India, according to a report by Moneycontrol. These new retail outlets will be located in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai.
The report mentions that Apple has already started listing several job openings on its website, indicating that the company is seeking both full-time and part-time employees to staff these new locations. This expansion is part of Apple’s broader strategy to strengthen its retail presence in India, a key market for the company.
Currently, Apple operates two major stores in India: the BKC store in Mumbai and the Select City Walk store in Delhi. Each of these stores employs about 90-100 people, including part-timers who work in shifts. With the addition of the new stores, Apple aims to enhance customer engagement and provide a more personalized retail experience across multiple cities.
