Avinash Gupta has been named the Global Head of Talent Development, Organizational Design (OD), and Training at Jubilant Pharmova Limited. In this role, he will lead strategic initiatives to enhance leadership capabilities, talent development, and training programs across the organization, aligning these efforts with Jubilant’s growth strategy.
Before joining Jubilant Pharmova, Avinash was the Director of Learning and Development at Ola Electric, where he established the company’s L&D department, driving digital learning and implementing frameworks for upskilling and retention. His experience includes over eight years at Ashok Leyland, where he led business transformations and talent development initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki India Limited, contributing to improvements in training and operational efficiency.
Avinash is renowned for his expertise in transformative leadership, learning & development, talent management, and change management. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving organizational excellence and innovation, particularly in setting up L&D teams and pioneering cutting-edge learning solutions. His leadership at Ola Electric included the successful transition to digital learning, implementing a Learning Management System that emphasized reskilling, upskilling, and internal development of emerging digital capabilities.
As a seasoned Learning and Development strategist, Avinash excels in managing global teams, leading change, and building robust learning infrastructures, including Centres of Excellence (CoE) and training programs across all organizational levels. He led the Retail Sales Excellence Program, significantly enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency.
During the BS4 to BS6 transition, Avinash played a pivotal role in executive training amidst the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. He is dedicated to pioneering advanced digital learning tools, recognition programs, and innovative initiatives such as eLearning, data automation, and AR-based learning videos. Avinash holds certifications including Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and Certified Design Thinking Practitioner, reflecting his commitment to continuous improvement and employee engagement.
