State Bank of India-backed Cashfree Payments has announced the appointment of Nitin Pulyani as its Senior Vice President and Head of Product. In this role, Pulyani will be responsible for leading product development, fostering innovation, and crafting strategic growth initiatives. His leadership will focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in both domestic and international markets.
With a rich background in fintech, Pulyani brings over two decades of experience to the role, having previously held key positions at companies like PhonePe and Jupiter. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in shaping product strategies that drive customer engagement and revenue growth. His expertise spans various notable brands, including Ola, NeoGrowth, and TaxiForSure, where he built high-performing teams and delivered products that enhanced customer experiences.
This key appointment comes on the heels of Harsh Gupta’s hiring as Chief Revenue Officer, signaling Cashfree’s intent to strengthen its leadership team for future growth.
Additionally, Cashfree has recently reported significant milestones for its identity verification solution, Secure ID. The platform has now facilitated over 100 crore verifications, preventing fraud amounting to Rs 50 crore for its business clients.
According to data from TheKredible, Cashfree’s revenue from operations surged to Rs 614 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2023, compared to Rs 350 crore in FY22. The Bengaluru-based firm offers a range of payment solutions to businesses, including payment collection, auto-collect, recurring payments, and verification services for banks.
