Cybersecurity expert Sumeet Khokhani has been appointed Senior Vice President and Global CISO at WNS Global Services. Prior to this, Khokhani held the role of Vice President, IRM & Cybersecurity at Reliance Industries.
With over two decades of diverse experience, Khokhani has developed expertise across various sectors, including banking, government, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. He is recognized for his skills in security operations, risk management, audit and compliance, governance, and leadership. A trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders, Khokhani is known for his ability to blend technological expertise with business insights.
In his new role, Khokhani stated, “With WNS, I will be playing a leadership role in driving strategic leadership, policy development & enforcement, security architecture, cybersecurity risk management, security operations & monitoring (SOC), incident response and investigation & regulatory compliance requirements of SEC, GDPR, HIPAA, etc. and security standards ISO 27001, SOC1 / SOC2, PCI-DSS, etc.”
Khokhani holds numerous professional certifications, including CISM, CISSP, C|CISO, and is a recognized strategist in areas such as advanced cyber defense and incident response. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Networks & Distributed Computing from the University of Westminster, UK.
