US, European regulators sign joint statement on effective AI competition

Regulators from the United States, European Union, and Britain have issued a joint statement aimed at promoting effective competition in the artificial intelligence sector and safeguarding consumers.

The statement, released by the European Commission, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, emphasized their commitment to ensuring fair and honest treatment of consumers and businesses in accordance with their respective laws.
