TSMC shares fall nearly 2% even after raising 2024 revenue forecast

Taipei-listed shares of TSMC declined at the market open on Friday, despite the company raising its full-year revenue forecast and reporting a net profit for the second quarter that exceeded market expectations.

Shares of TSMC, the world’s largest contract chipmaker, fell by 1.79%, while Taiwan’s main index opened down by 0.73%.
