Bengaluru-based generative AI startup Ayna has secured $1.5 million in seed funding led by early-stage investment platform Inflexor Ventures.
The startup intends to use the capital to enhance its AI capabilities, expand its team, and accelerate its mission to provide high-quality product photography for businesses of all sizes.
“This funding allows us to further develop our technology, aiming to make immersive and hyper-personalized virtual shopping experiences accessible to all brands, effectively blurring the lines between online and offline shopping,” said Yash Bansal, co-founder of Ayna.
Founded in 2023 by Aastha Rajpal and Yash Bansal, Ayna enables brands to produce studio-quality product photoshoots at scale without the need for physical photoshoots.
The startup’s proprietary compound foundational models (CFMs) offer brands granular control over every detail of their product images, providing a significant advantage over traditional methods and basic AI solutions.
“Ayna is leading the way in using diffusion models within a unique compound foundational model framework to revolutionize the product photography industry,” added Bansal.
Ayna boasts a notable client base, including Reliance Retail’s Clovia, Wakefit, and WomanLikeU.
Ayna’s generative AI technology eliminates costly overheads, reduces turnaround times, and overcomes creative limitations, allowing brands to optimize their product visuals for maximum conversion.
The Bengaluru-based startup is preparing for a strategic expansion into the US market, aiming to tap into the vast e-commerce landscape and the growing demand for advanced solutions.
Additionally, Ayna is actively seeking strategic partnerships with multiple marketplaces to extend its powerful AI technology to a broader spectrum of sellers, thereby enhancing the reach and impact of its offerings.
