Zscaler, Inc. has announced a partnership with NVIDIA aimed at enhancing AI-powered copilot technologies. By leveraging NVIDIA’s AI capabilities, Zscaler plans to introduce new copilot services focused on user experience and enterprise security. This collaboration includes utilizing NVIDIA NIM inference microservices, NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, and the NVIDIA Morpheus framework to bolster the capabilities of the Zero Trust Exchange™ platform. These enhancements will enable Zscaler copilot to proactively defend against cyber threats and streamline IT and network operations.
The rapid evolution of AI is increasingly pivotal in driving innovations within cybersecurity. Enterprises must effectively utilize their vast data volumes to adopt a proactive security stance and manage IT operations efficiently at scale. Zscaler’s new ZDX Copilot, powered by NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, offers insights into network, device, and application performance, facilitating simplified IT support and scalable operations. NeMo Guardrails manage dialog orchestration, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and security in applications employing large language models (LLMs), thereby safeguarding organizations leveraging generative AI systems.
The Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ platform, recognized as the world’s largest security cloud processing over 400 billion transactions daily, integrates Zscaler’s advanced predictive and generative AI capabilities. This positions Zscaler uniquely to swiftly identify, capture, and respond to threats and anomalies that were previously challenging to detect.
Additionally, Zscaler will harness NVIDIA Morpheus and NVIDIA NIM to deliver advanced predictive and generative AI solutions:
- Zscaler ZDX Copilot with NVIDIA Morpheus utilizes GPU-accelerated AI to optimize applications for real-time threat detection by filtering, processing, and classifying large volumes of streaming cybersecurity data.
- Zscaler ZDX Copilot with NVIDIA NIM incorporates easy-to-deploy microservices from NVIDIA AI Enterprise, supporting various LLMs for efficient and scalable generative AI inferencing tailored to specific security and data protection needs.
Punit Minocha, EVP Business and Corporate Development at Zscaler, emphasized, “Advancements in AI are pivotal for cybersecurity vendors to maintain a competitive edge against adversaries. Zscaler remains committed to fortifying AI with AI, and our collaboration with NVIDIA further strengthens our leadership in the cybersecurity landscape.”
Pat Lee, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at NVIDIA, highlighted, “Generative AI and accelerated computing are transforming enterprises across industries, from cybersecurity to IT operations. By integrating NVIDIA’s AI software portfolio, Zscaler’s ZDX Copilot can now deliver the security and protection necessary for detecting cyber anomalies and enhancing IT safety.”
