Dhaval Mankad has joined Vadilal Industries Limited as the Head of IT, marking a significant career transition from his previous role as VP-IT (CIO) at Havmor Ice Cream (Lotte Group). Based in Ahmedabad, Dhaval will oversee enterprise applications, IT security, and infrastructure, while also spearheading the company’s digital transformation initiatives. His responsibilities will include shaping the overall IT strategy with a focus on adopting cloud technologies, modernizing SAP ERP systems, developing web and mobility applications, leveraging data, enhancing the IT infrastructure framework, and strengthening information security and governance. Dhaval will report to Mr. Kalpit Gandhi, CFO & Director.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Dhaval stated, “I’m excited to embark on this new journey at Vadilal Industries Limited, setting up and driving the digital transformation roadmap for the organization. I am confident that my three decades of experience and learning will significantly contribute to collaboration within Vadilal in bringing about the desired change.”
He added, “The senior management’s robust growth aspirations for the organization, coupled with their belief in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and drive new digital solutions, will further empower my exploration of RISE with SAP, cloud and app modernization, data analytics, mobility, and other initiatives.”
Previously, at Havmor Ice Cream Private Limited (Lotte Group), Dhaval served as VP-IT and CIO for six years, where he led significant projects including digital transformation, process simplification and automation, enhancing security posture, cloud adoption, and SAP HANA migration. Prior to Havmor, he gained extensive experience at L&T Power and Pipavav Shipyard, among others, throughout the last 15 years of his three-decade-long career.
