DEN Networks has announced the appointment of Omesh Uppal as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), with his tenure beginning on April 16, 2024. This update was officially communicated to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Omesh Uppal brings over 27 years of experience across the Broadcast Media, Digital Entertainment, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors. He is a postgraduate diploma holder in Business Administration from the Apeejay School of Marketing and has earned a B.Sc. (Honours) degree from Delhi University.
Before his new role at DEN Networks, Uppal was the Senior VP of Affiliate Sales (Cable) for India, APAC, and South Asia at IndiaCast, a position he held for more than 12 years. His career also includes significant periods at Nestle India Private Limited and roles at major television networks including Sony, Discovery, and ESPN Star Sports.
His appointment is part of DEN Network’s strategic initiative to strengthen its leadership team by leveraging Uppal’s extensive industry experience and leadership skills.
