Mastek appoints Arvind Jonnalagadda as Global CHRO

Mastek, a Mumbai-based IT firm, has announced the immediate appointment of Arvind Jonnalagadda as Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his new role, Arvind brings over 21 years of core expertise in leading global executive teams and enhancing organizational culture to redefine the employee experience. He has rich experience in establishing HR and recruitment operations across various industries in India, APAC, the Middle East, and the USA. His extensive experience in the HR domain encompasses employee experience & digitization, mergers & acquisitions, leadership development and coaching, employee relations, talent management and assessment, compensation, global mobility, DEIB, and recruiting. He will further spearhead the company’s global people and growth initiatives.

Prior to this, Arvind served as the Global Head of HR and advisor to the senior leadership team at DMI (Digital Management). Prior to that, he held several key leadership roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer – IT Business at CMS IT Services Pvt Ltd, Staffing Leader for Cisco – India, and General Manager of HR for Wipro. He began his career in 1998 as an HR executive at Ramco Systems.

In terms of his academic background, Arvind holds a master’s degree in social sciences from Central University Pondicherry and completed a residential HRDP program at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Mastek has recently seized the growing market potential of Generative AI, cloud services, and data analytics by acquiring the US-based data services company BizAnalytica in a Rs 140 Cr investment deal. This investment is aimed at empowering the IT firm’s clients to make data-driven decisions with comprehensive data, cloud, and modernization solutions.

In the announcement of the acquisition, Mastek’s CEO, Hiral Chandrana, stated, “This acquisition signifies a significant milestone in accelerating our presence in data engineering, cloud services, and the rapidly evolving Gen AI domain. It will enable us to simplify the cloud transformation journey for our clients.
